A few more

I was hoping to get a few more posts before the end of the year. Here is another little batch primarily made up of floral packaging.

I thought it was fun how varied the styles are.

Seasonal Designs

Designing patterns really throws off your internal calendar. I find myself designing spring patterns in the fall, Christmas patterns in July or earlier, or needing to find St. Patrick's Day inspiration in the middle of December.

There are also times when clients need a pattern that can be partially or completely ambiguous...Client says, "Can I get a definitive Easter pattern that can phase out into generic spring sales and then be recolored for summer and fall?"...Me, "Sure, no sweat!" (mumbled under my breath "What do they think I am a chameleon?"

Somehow it all works out. Hope you enjoy today's selection.

Welcome to Pitter Pattern

Hello Blogosphere,

I've started this blog as a venue for showing the work I do during most of my breathing hours. I design patterns for companies in the gift/party, floral, home decor, stationery, & food industries. I'll showcase a few patterns each post with brief description of their context if needed.

Feel free to contact me about any patterns show here for licensing options and limitations.

Enjoy!
